Previously we've reported on the headlamps of cars aping the human eye as a graphic device. With full LED clusters now feasible and appearing more commonly on production designs, we're seeing a new type of lamp appear – the blade of light. Our snappers caught the Gullwing out testing, ready for the concept’s launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this year. The SLC’s most striking feature (at least on the coupe) is the Gullwing doors, reminiscent of the original 300SL.

Kia is to work with renowned chassis experts Lotus on all future models to improve ride and handling. The new Soul will be first to receive the fettling from the experts in Hethel. The new strategy will ensure that future models will get a suspension set-up geared specifically for UK roads.
